Richards Bay chairman FC Jomo Biyela is set to hold contract talks with head coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi, who guided the club to an undefeated run in the PSL Promotional/Relegation Play-Offs.
The KwaZulu-Natal outfit made easy work of Baroka FC with a 4-0 hammering on match-day four of the playoffs, courtesy of goals came from Sandile Barns, Lwandile Mabuya and a Somila Ntsundwana brace.

Vilakazi's charges finished top of the mini-league, with University of Pretoria coming second, while Baroka FC finished last.
The big question has been looming on whether the head coach, who joined the club in November 2023 on a six-month contract, would be handed another ceal.
Addressing club supporters after the game, Biyela all but confirmed that fresh contract talks were set to get underway.
"To coach 'Kanu' [Vilakazi], the head coach, by the time you arrived, everyone believed that these ones are going [to get relegated], but you were able to turn things around with the support of your technical team.
"So, I'm not trying to hand out contracts here, but the question is why fix it if it's not broken? That's the question. So, you can conclude what that means," said the chairman.
Additionally, a source close to proceedings has informed this website that the club management is more than pleased with Vilakazi's tenure.
"The results are speaking for themselves. It will still be up to him if he stays. So, I can't say it's done, but the club wants him to stay, so they will offer a deal," the insider revealed to KickOff.
