Spain are yet to taste anything besides victory since the continental competition kicked off last month, winning all three of their group stage games before dismantling Georgia in the round of 16.
France have, meanwhile, stumbled into the semi-finals after netting just two goals in the group stage and finishing second in Group D. An own goal then helped them get past Belgium in the next round before their penalty-shootout victory in the quarters.

Despite the contrast in form at the tournament, Antoine Griezmann maintains the hope that his side can reach the final, and stated that they are not scared of the firing Spanish attack.
"It's a great team, with a new coach. Nico and Lamine are there, and they make the difference every time they have the ball. We have to counter them," the Atletico Madrid star said per Mundo Deportivo.
"Spain have a great team. But no team is scary. We are confident in ourselves and we'll give everything to reach the final.
"There is one game left to reach the final. It's extraordinary to always be in the top four. We have to enjoy this France team, because they can win."
The two nations will square off on Tuesday night while England and the Netherlands will face off in the second semi-final encounter on Wednesday.
