Arrows’ decision on Khenyeza with Komphela gone

As Golden Arrows continue to be flooded with applications for the head coach job following the sudden departure of Steve Komphela, the club will have decisions to make.

Komphela has returned to Mamelodi Sundowns after Rulani Mokwena's exit, which evidently suggests that there was bad blood between the two at Chloorkop.

The former Bafana Bafana captain returned to Arrows early March with the club struggling with 11 defeats in their last 12 games under the tutelage of Mabhudi Khenyeza.

With Komphela in charge, the club stabilised a bit and eventually finished in ninth place.

Developments at Sundowns, where Mokwena was pushed out, meant Komphela didn't hesitate in going back.

While Khenyeza remains at Arrows, there has been a flood of interest for the job with agents using all forms of tactics to get their clients in.

For all his failures at Chiefs, there have been efforts to get Cavin Johnson the job by those representing him.

Dan Malesela has shown interest just like Owen Da Gama, with Lehlohonolo Seema an option for a return.

However, Arrows could still be tempted to stick with Khenyeza, who is familiar with operations at the club.
