Manchester United have reportedly hijacked a deal Real Madrid were keen on, with the player already having a medical today.
The Red Devils are now on the verge of finalising the signing of French starlet Leny Yoro, who initially looked set to join Real Madrid, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

It is claimed the highly-rated 18-year-old is already in England to complete a medical and finalise personal terms in a deal many would consider to be a major coup for United.
The Frenchman's proposed contract with the Manchester-based club is reported to run until June 2029.
It has been further suggested that the reigning FA Cup champions are offering the teenager a yearly salary of €9 million (around R178 million) plus bonuses, with United confident of getting the deal over the line.
This comes after Yoro's current team Lille accepted the Red Devils' bid of €62 million (around R1.2 billion), including add-ons, with the clubs said to have agreed on terms last week.
Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Los Blancos were reportedly also vying for the defender's services, with it being suggested that Yoro's initial preference was to join the LALIGA giants.
However, Lille were understood to be in favour of selling him to the 20-time Premier League winners instead of losing him to Carlo Ancelotti's Real, who were not keen to match the offer United had tabled.
The France youth international is said to be the English club's primary defensive target for the current window as they look to strengthen a backline that was plagued by injuries over the course of the 2023/24 campaign.
The Red Devils also leaked goals, conceding 58 in 38 league matches and subsequently ending the season in eighth place with a goal difference of minus one.

Erik ten Hag's side has also been linked with Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite and Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, who played under the Dutch tactician during their time at Ajax Amsterdam, but it remains to be seen if either of them will join should the deal for Yoro be completed.
