Gaston Sirino has suddenly found himself having to make considerations about his next career step after his glorious stay at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Sirino has won seven consecutive league titles since making the switch to Chloorkop from Club Bolivar in January 2018.

That achievement has taken him to a worldwide claim that sets him apart as being one of few – if any – that have been a league winner in their first seven years with one club.
However, now that he is out of Sundowns, pushing the count to eight in a row with one club is out of the way.
Sirino has firm decisions to make with the prospect of playing at the FIFA Club World Cup next year now out of the way as well.
The 33-year-old has already turned down the option of returning to Club Bolivar, where he was also a league winner prior to arriving at Sundowns.
Bolivia might be in South America, but the conditions in La Paz are always difficult and it's not a place the dribbling wizard will want to take is family.
According to a contact in Uruguay, Sirino has also been weighed up about the possibility of returning home, but there is no way he will be offered a package anywhere near to what he expects.
However, it appears the priority is getting a viable contract preferably with a club in Gauteng, which will enable him to keep close to his family with two school-attending daughters.
Mention of both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, along with the option of pressing for the Gulf Region, has been made as they are the clubs that will offer him a package similar to what he enjoyed at The Brazilians.
Sirino's name has also been thrown in the direction of Sekhukhune United.
Though born in Uruguay, he has held South African permanent residence since the beginning of 2023 after completing five years in the country.

He now has both a South African ID and passport (Uruguayan-South African), which was used for his registration for the group stage of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
This allows for him to be taken on board locally as a non-foreigner.
