Wydad's latest transfer decision 'revealed'

Wydad Athletic Club's latest decision on transfers in the current window has reportedly now been revealed. 

With the side having already been linked to a few players since the South African tactician was officially unveiled as manager earlier this month, they are said to have set a timeline for announcing transfers.

According to Moroccan outlet SPORT7, Red Castle president Hicham Ait Menna has decided that new additions to the squad will be announced during the course of next week. 

The three-time CAF Champions League winners are claimed to have completed the signings of two players, but intend to increase that number.

It has been suggested the the president set the target of signing seven new players as replacements for stars who have already left the club, with one of them being former captain Yahya Jabrane who joined Kuwait SC ahead of the new season.

Ayoub El Amloud was the latest player to depart the club when he joined Iranian side Persepolis on a free transfer despite the Moroccan side's efforts in persuading him to stay

Wydad have most recently been linked with Moroccan left-back Jawad Khalouk and ex-AS FAR Rabat attacker Zakaria Habti.

Meanwhile, Mokwena is believed to have emphasised his desire for the deals to be completed before the side jet off for a scheduled training camp in Turkey.

The Red Castle will travel to the country at the end of the month, but it has been suggested that training will begin on Tuesday 23 July.
