During their pre-season preparations in Turkiye, Kaizer Chiefs have done more than just play football and have contributed to South Africa considerably!
Many consider the Soweto giants to have had an underwhelming 2023/24 campaign that saw the side finish 10th on the DStv Premiership table to accompany some domestic cup disappointments.

The team, under new leader, Nasreddine Nabi are seemingly taking the steps to correct and improve on last season as they prepare in the European country.
While that be the main objective, the club have taken on a side task of epic proportion, transcending football and venturing into the complex world of business and diplomatic relations.
In fact, South African Honorary Consul in Istanbul Remzi Gur expressed gratitude to the Soweto-based side for choosing the country as the destination to host its pre-season training camp.
According to a statement on the club's official website, the visit "will significantly bolster diplomatic and cultural ties between South Africa and Turkiye."
"I'm delighted to have had the opportunity to meet with Kaizer Chiefs Management and explore ways to strengthen our nations' ties," Gur said.
"I'm thrilled to invite the team back to Türkiye for future training sessions and look forward to celebrating our warm relationships between our countries."
Meanwhile, Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Motaung expressed her delight at the possibilities that the future holds.
"We're eager to use our travels abroad to market and establish key stakeholder relationships for South Africa," she said.
"We look forward to welcoming many fans from Türkiye to our games in South Africa."
