Mammila signs 'Orlando Pirates material'

Head coach Morgan Mammila has found another dribbling wizard for his club Baroka FC, as he looks to take the Motsepe Foundation Championship team back to the topflight.

According to sources, the Limpopo-based side has now added to their roster Mthokozisi "Dancing Confidence" Ngcobo, who joins on a three-year deal from amateur team AT Mambas.

It is not clear yet if the player has played professional football before but comes highly recommended by those who have been following his career.

Mammila is known for believing in raw talent. In 2016, he signed YouTube sensation Tshepo "Skhwama Sama Tariyana" Matete for Bakgaga.

At the time, Matete had never played in a professional set-up, not even in the lower leagues, as he was spotted in the Maimane Phiri Games in Daveyton.

Now eight years later, the club has roped in another showboating sensation in Ngcobo.

Ngcobo was part of the Baroka team that took part in the Limpopo Top Four Tournament that was played at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Betway Premiership sides Polokwane Cit and Magesi FC, as well as second-tier outfit Venda Football Club, all took part in the tournament.

"I think this boy is PSL material, Orlando Pirates material to be specific," one source tells KickOff.
