Young Africans boss Miguel Gamondi has made a bold claim about his side following their 4-0 thumping of Kaizer Chiefs.
The Tanzanian outfit will head into the new season in good spirits after winning two of their three pre-season encounters in South Africa, including their Toyota Cup triumph over Amakhosi on Sunday.

Yanga also beat TS Galaxy by a goal to nil, with their only defeat coming against Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, who managed to beat the African giants by two goals to one.
Young Africans will be in good stead as they look to defend their league title after winning it by a comprehensive 11-point margin last season.
With the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League set to kick off in August, they will face Burundi outfit Vital'O FC in a two-legged encounter on the 16th and the 23rd, and the Argentine tactician wants his side to venture as far as possible into the competition, insisting his team should become one of the best five sides in Africa.
"Our goal for next season is to place Yanga among the top five clubs on the continent," Gamondi said, per Tanzanian outlet Daily News.
"We also aim to retain our Premier League title and advance as far as possible in the Champions League.
"With our experienced players, passionate supporters and solid preparation, we are confident in achieving these targets."

The pre-season also gave the tactician a chance to assess his new signings, which includes the likes of Clatous Chama from rivals Simba SC and former Black Leopards forward Prince Dube, who found the net against Chiefs.
"The new players have shown great potential. We've assembled a strong squad, but there is still room for improvements. We need to keep working hard," Gamondi added.
