Wydad Athletic Club's financial issues seem to still be prevalent as they have reportedly caused Rulani Mokwena to lose another star.
Attacker Cherki El Bahri has informed the South African tactician of his decision to leave the club due to him not receiving money that was due to him, according to Moroccan news site Hesport.

It is claimed that the player even offered to reduce the amount that was initially due to him.
However, it is reported that he did not receive any response from the Botola Pro 1 outfit, resulting in his decision to inform Mokwena of his intention to continue his career elsewhere.
It is further stated that the "warning period" he sent to the club ends next Friday, at which point his contract will "automatically be terminated" and the matter will be taken further.
It is said that following his discussion with the South African tactician, El Bahri was removed from the team's WhatsApp group.
The Red Castle have previously been in hot water when it comes to financial compensation to players.
The Moroccan side is currently facing a transfer ban that had been imposed on them by FIFA for a breach of contract with three former players.
Despite this, Wydad have confirmed the signing of a number of players over the past couple of weeks, including left-back Jawad Khalouk, Mohamed Moufid from rivals AS FAR Rabat, and attacking midfielder Hamza Sakhi, among others.

Club president Hicham Ait Menna is said to be working hard to ensure that the ban is lifted as the Red Castle look to improve on the underwhelming 2023/24 campaign that saw them finish in sixth place on the league table.
