It is now no secret that a number of Cape Town Spurs players are currently in demand, KickOff has the latest insight on the future of striker Ashley Cupido.
Cupido has been on top of his game since bagging the Motsepe Foundation Championship top goalscorer accolade with 15 goals that helped Spurs reach the play-offs and eventually gain promotion ahead of 2023/24.
The 23-year-old attracted interest from the top teams in the country and also from overseas, but his handlers decided it best for the bulky marksman to have his first taste of Premiership football with Spurs, to develop his game further, where he would be, more or less, guaranteed game-time.

However, despite scoring an impressive seven goals, his huge contribution was not enough to see the Urban Warriors avoid relegation, after they finished bottom of the standings.
Following their relegation, Spurs' top players have been in demand, with Kaizer Chiefs recently signing left-footed defender Rushwin Dortley.
Winger Asanele Velebayi has been linked with Amakhosi, who are currently embroiled in a bitter transfer spat with the Mother City club, who have accused them of not being professional in their approach of Velebayi, as exclusively reported by this publication on Thursday.
It has been established from sources that Cupido is also a wanted man and Spurs have already rejected a bid from an unnamed club.
The 23-year-old was previously linked with the traditional Big Three, in Mamelodi Sundowns, Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
Indications from sources are that a deal for Cupido could be on cards but the main sticking point is the price tag the Urban Warriors have put for his services.
It is believed that Spurs are not willing to accept anything less than R6 million for their leading goal-scorer.
For all the interest that has been shown, interested clubs would have to meet this figure.
