KickOff can reveal that Wydad Athletic Club have made contact with Percy Tau's representatives in South Africa with a view of securing his signature before the end of August.
All indications point towards the exit door for the former Mamelodi Sundowns man, who has spent three seasons with the Egyptian side.

The Bafana Bafana star remains a top priority amongst coach Rulani Mokwena's targets following his appointment as head coach at the Moroccan giants almost exactly a month ago.
Tau has also been linked to two unnamed teams from Saudi Arabia, while this publication has also reported on strong interest from Al Ahly's rivals Zamalek.
According to our informant, Wydad were due to submit an official offer for the Witbank-born attacker on Monday.
"Wydad have made contact with his agent in South Africa. They are expected to submit to official offer to Al Ahly today. There are two clubs in Saudi Arabia that have also expressed interest," said the source.

The North Africans have also confirmed their interest in Tau, with one of the club's representatives revealing the news to Egyptian publication Kora Plus.
"We are in a period of renewing the squad, and we are looking for players with experience to replace the departed players such as Yahya Jbrane, Ayoub El Amloud, and Yahya Attiat Allah. A player like Percy Tau and others, of course we are interested in signing them," said Saad Al-Dreib.
