League defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns will kick off the season against neighbours SuperSport United in the Tshwane Derby on Saturday 14 September.
The match will be played at Loftus Versfeld at 15:00.
However, should The Brazilians still be in the CAF Champions League as expected, then the highly anticipated fixture will be played on Tuesday evening at the same venue.
On Saturday, league runners-up Orlando Pirates will host Chippa United at Orlando Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30.
Meanwhile, their rivals Kaizer Chiefs will be in Bloemfontein, where they will play guests to Marumo Gallants following their purchase of Moroka Swallows and subsequent relocation to the City of Roses.
