'Two reasons why Pep might live Man City'

It has been claimed that there are two reasons that might make Pep Guardiola want to leave Manchester City.

Guardiola has always been open about his long-term future with the Citizens despite winning a fourth successive Premier League title.

The Spaniard's contract is due to expire in 2025 and he is yet to reveal if he wants to stay beyond this season.

Writer Marti Perarnau is doing a biography for Guardiola and opened up what the coach might do with his future.

"Basically he has the perfect club because of the ecosystem, he has a very good relationship with the players and the players have plenty of energy and desire to win again," Perarnau told Manchester Evening News.

'I think there are only two factors: the family and his own tiredness after nine years.

"Perhaps the family say it is too much time in Manchester and the children all grow up. That could happen. If it doesn't happen, who knows. I don't say that Pep won't renew, I'm not sure.

"I think he will decide between November and February."

Guardiola has been with the Citizens since 2016 and has won six Premier League titles, four League Cups, two FA Cups and the UEFA Champions League.
