Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has explained what went wrong for his side after being held to a 0-0 draw by CS Disciples in a First Preliminary Round first leg tie of the CAF Champions League.
The Buccaneers returned empty-handed from their Madagascar trip as neither side was able to break the deadlock for the full 90 minutes in the first leg of the two-legged first preliminary round tie.

The result means it will be anyone's game for the taking when the two teams meet again at Orlando Stadium on Friday.
Reflecting on the encounter, Riveiro told Pirates' media that the goalless draw was 'strange' considering that both sides had chances to score.
"I think the opposition was excellent," the Spaniard said.
"Every (any) result could have been possible in my opinion; us winning, them winning.
"I think both sides had very clear chances and it's strange that we finished the game nil-nil. We couldn't capitalize [on] our chances to get a goal advantage at least to go to the second leg with an advantage.
"It's also important that we didn't concede.
"In less than one week, we have to finalise this round in Orlando. We know it won't be easy, like I said, they are a good team and we have to do everything in order to impose ourselves," he continued.

The Soweto will be desperate to avoid a repeat of last season's disastrous continental campaign where they crashed out of the Champions League in the second preliminary round after failing to beat Jwaneng Galaxy away and losing on penalties in the return leg at home.
Friday's match is scheduled to kick off at 18:00.
