Wydad Athletic Club president Hicham Ait Menna has reportedly set the conditions he believes would make a move for Percy Tau possible.
The Moroccan outfit have previously been linked with the Al Ahly star, with club board member Saad Al-Dreib confirming that they were interested in signing an experienced player like the South Africa international.

The 30-year-old, meanwhile, is understood to be facing an uncertain future with the Egyptian giants.
It has been claimed that the Cairo side is trying to manufacture an exit for Tau in the current transfer window so that a new foreign player could be brought in as his replacement.
However, Tau is believed to have requested an estimated $1.2 million (about R21 million) to terminate his contract – which expires at the end of the 2024/25 season – with the club.
According to Moroccan news site LeSiteInfo, the former Mamelodi Sundowns star and his agent have asked for high wages from the Botola Pro 1 outfit, but the side now managed by his compatriot Rulani Mokwena are reluctant to agree to the request.
It is said that because of Wydad's financial situation, they will only proceed with the deal if those salary and bonus demands are lowered.
Another condition Ait Menna is claimed to have set is the player's contract.
As the president does not want to place further financial burden on Wydad, it is reported they will only sign the player if he were to become a free agent in this window.

The Moroccan club are suggested to be aware of the attacker's "capabilities and his ability to provide something extra", but do not possess the "purchasing power" to buy Tau from Al Ahly, per LeSiteInfo.
