With the reason behind new Orlando Pirates signing Gilberto missing the side's opening two matches of the campaign reportedly been revealed, fans have given their thoughts!
This publication reported that the player is still awaiting his paperwork from the Angolan Football Federation and because he is believed to have not yet received his documents, he cannot apply for a work permit as the paperwork is a prerequisites for that process.
Here's what readers had to say in response to the matter:
"So Gilberto must wait until when before getting his work permit? We need him on the field," says Gatsheni Mandla Brighton.
"FIFA must step in here, and halt any funding to the federation if there is evidence of wrongdoing," says Teboho Phuroe.
"And he had a good pre season," says Sammy Rassie.
"Waiting for a permit while searching for his favourite drinking spot in the country. A dancer this one," says Vibe Heist Khomola.
"They will play him when they face Sundowns," says Thato Jake.
"This one will disappear like Marou. He's a rapper in his home country," says Thibos Tj Lebusa.
"I don't know why some countries take time to give you a work permit, aii. I just heard that in Zim, it takes 6 months for your passport and work permit to be approved. Just imagine," says Nkateko Mashimbye.
"We're patiently waiting," says Ayanda Maraqana.
"We really need him ASAP," says Bonga Innoh Xaba.
"He is not a dangerous player... He must ask Otladisa and co.," says Kwakwa Lethabo.

Meanwhile, former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat scooped up another big prize in the Zimbabwean top flight. The midfielder has been named the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe's Player of the Month for July.
Check out what the supporters had to say about the ex-PSL star:
"Enjoy yourself Khama you are home no pressure no insults and lastly what a house you've built at home I envy your perseverance young man you went home with something some players left south Africa with nothing you are a good example of hard work," says Simba Tuwacha.
"We were made to believe that Khama was always injured at chiefs hence his lack of game time but he is now playing regularly in his new club," says Emmanuel Manu Mafokwane.
"If he was here he'll already be injured before the season even starting. Playing 5 games in a row would be a miracle..." says Karabo Matshego.
"Bring back Khama Kaizer Chiefs and pay him R150K take it or leave it, he has unfinished business with KC," says OS Mthembu.
"You see the opponent is grazing, the next time when we say he is playing with cows in Zim you will develop chest pains," says Michael Sibanyoni.
"Then the problem was Chiefs," says Mokgadi Phil Tshepang.
"I think we can compare their league to NFD in SA, so I guess that's why he's on form our Billiato," says Malebatja Tebogo.
"Class is permanent..." says Alphias T Zunidza.
