Mulomowandau Mathoho has sunk deeper into semi-retirement as he nears two years since he last had a taste of professional football at Kaizer Chiefs.

Based on this, the chances of the 34-year-old returning to the professional game have gone south.
The possibilities of a move to another club have also dried up since he briefly trained with SuperSport United before being linked to TS Galaxy.
While in the past, being offloaded at Chiefs meant plenty options in your next move, Mathoho's case proves that it is no longer a guarantee that clubs will tussle for your services.
Mathoho's situation has been made difficult by that no club can even pay half of the six figures that he was earning at Chiefs.
His last 90 minutes run was in the Soweto Derby in March 2022 when Stuart Baxter was still in charge.
