After some glittering displays for Olympique Marseille since leaving Manchester United, Mason Greenwood has now been labelled as one of the best players in Ligue 1.
Following his arrest in January 2022, charges of attempted rape, assault, and coercive control against the Englishman were dropped in February last year, with the Red Devils eventually deciding he should relaunch his career away from Old Trafford.

As a result, the forward spent the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Spanish club Getafe, for whom he recorded 10 goals and six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
Now, after sealing a reported £26.7 million (R628 million) move to Les Olympiens in July, Greenwood has scored five goals and provided one assist in three league matches for his new side.
The club led by Roberto De Zerbi is now second on the Ligue 1 table heading into the international break, with the England international's goals being key to their good start to the season.
His performances have led French journalist Daniel Riolo to believing that the forward could be the best player in the French top flight.
"In terms of pure quality, over the first three games, Greenwood is perhaps the best player in Ligue 1," Riolo said, per RMC Sport.
"We're not going to talk about the past and the fact that he's banned from England, we all know his story.
"We're going to talk about the pitch, it's extraordinary.
"It's maybe two or three flashes per match but it's sharp, crazy.
"His precision, his speed of execution, we're facing a guy who has qualities that are well above average.
"He's above Ligue 1, he's a very great player."
