Mamelodi Sundowns star Ronwen Williams has been nominated among the best goalkeepers in the world at the Ballon d'Or awards this year.
French publication France Football announced their nominees for the various awards on Wednesday night X.
The Sundowns star has been nominated for the Yachine Trophy, which recognised the best goalkeeper for the year.

The awarded was created in 2019, with Liverpool and Brazil star Alisson Becker being the first recipient of the accolade, which is named of the former Soviet Union goalkeeper Lev Yashin.
Aston Villa shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez won the award last year after his heroics for Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
