Ghana are reportedly facing a heavy punishment after supporters invaded the pitch after the loss to Angola on Thursday.
The Black Stars did not get off to a good start in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after Angola struck late in the game to secure a 1-0 win at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The images after the encounter were not a pretty sight as supporters stormed the pitch and launched bottles after the last-gasp defeat.

According to Ghanasoccernet, the supporters littered the field with plastic bottles and also damaged nearly all of the pitch panels.
The Ghanian Football Association (GFA) could not find themselves in trouble as this is not the first time supporters have invaded the pitch.
In 2019, the GFA were fined $10,000 (R178 870) after a pitch invasion during an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
Two years later, the association received a $15,000 (R268 307) fine for crowd trouble during an AFCON group game against Cape Verde.
