Butsaka was one of the standout performers in a Spurs side boasting plenty of talent but one that ultimately failed to find form and was subsequently relegated back to the lower division with just six wins from 30 DStv Premiership matches.
The versatile midfielder contributed three assists and a single goal during his 28 appearances for the side and missed four matches in all competitions last season.

His exit marks a mass exodus at Spurs, with striker Ashley Cupido already having joined Stellies, while defender Rushwin Dortley has joined Kaizer Chiefs and Siphesihle Maduna has linked up with TS Galaxy.
Spurs have since welcomed Amakhosi academy graduate Keletso Sifama from Sekhukhune United, on loan, and the experienced Daylon Claasen on a free transfer to boost their ambitions of a return to the topflight.
