Real Madrid hammered Espanyol 4-1 to maintain their unbeaten start to the season in LALIGA on Saturday evening.
Jude Bellingham made a welcome return having missed four matches, while Vinicius Junior was named on the bench as Real looked to continue their strong start to the season.
It was a dominant opening spell by the host, who had a surging effort from Kylian Mbappe in the box force a point-blank save from goalkeeper Joan Garcia.

Espanyol enjoyed moments up top later on in the half, but never really troubled Thibaut Courtois or the home side's defence holistically.
With too not much in the opening spell, Los Blancos and the travelling boys had to go in the interval on even terms and goalless.
Mbappe enjoyed yet another foray in-behind two minutes past the break, but Garcia draw a save before Courtois at the other end courted a stern effort from Jofre Carreras.
Espanyol broke through though against the run of play when Courtois mis-timed a ball in after looking to clear Carreras's effort only to find his own net.
Brazilian international Vinicius was introduced by the home team a little later and saw Turkish international Arda Guler sacrificed.
Fortunately, Los Blancos bounced back instantly after Garcia parried a first-time cross by Bellingham into the path of a lurking Dani Carvajal who tapped in easily.
Madrid made it two a bit later as Rodrygo made a run across the six-yard area to connect with Vinicius' cross and guided past Garcia.
Vinicius came to the party with just under ten minutes to go when he ran onto a through pass from Mbappe and dispatched comfortably.
Los Blancos made it four after Endrick won a spot-kick following a foul, allowing Mbappe to do the honours with supreme efficiency as Los Blancos moved up to second spot.
