Deon Hotto's eye-catching performances for Orlando Pirates have set him on a path towards a new contract at the club.
Hotto has little to question about what he can still offer, turning those who doubted him into admirers with every game that he plays as he comes within days of his 34th birthday.

If it has been commitment asked of him, then that is what the Namibian breathes on the field as proven by the fact that he has played 175 of the 189 games played by the club since he joined four years ago.
The hard-running player is in the last year of his contract at Pirates after the club activated the option on his deal.
What he has shown in the new season justifies all reasons why he should be kept with a two-year contract being ironed out.
The new deal will halt the growing eyes of interest from the Gulf Region.
"I think he has grown over the years, getting to improve with every season, which is why he has ended up at Pirates," points out Namibian yesteryear superstar Mohammed 'Slice' Ouseb, who played for Kaizer Chiefs, in endorsing the new deal.
"He is one of the players that one could say is like fine wine.
"As he gets older, he is just getting better at the club level, unlike in the national team where there are too much of expectations placed on players based outside instead of it being a collective effort.
"At Pirates, he has been forever present and always consistent and very versatile.

"Every time he goes on to the field, he is giving his all.
"I think very soon he will be one of the players that says goodbye to the national team so that he only focuses on his club because of his age," says Ouseb.
