'AJ' has already scored a goal after making three appearances for the Chilli Boys so far this season, netting a wonderful strike from the edge of the box against his former side Orlando Pirates.
The one-time Bafana Bafana midfielder had last tasted competitive action in December 2023 prior to making a return in September in the league match against Bucs at Orlando Stadium, where the visitors lost 2-1.
He has joined Onismor Bhasera amongst the current generation to hit the 300 mark in terms of appearances in the PSL era years.
Thabo Matlaba, Bandile Shandu, Mosa Lebusa and Daniel Cardoso are also moving slowly to join the elite in terms of the number of appearances in the domestic league.
"I just focus on playing football and helping my team win games. I don't count the number of games I play. But I am happy to hear that I have played such several games in the PSL. I wouldn't have achieved this without the coaches and players that I have worked with before," said Jali, speaking exclusively to KickOff.
"I must also thank Chippa United for allowing me to continue playing football. Now it's not about Andile Jali but Chippa United. The club comes first before anyone else. We are working hard as a team to achieve success this season. We have started well but need to keep pushing and make the people of Eastern Cape happy," he added.
