An ex-Real Madrid star has claimed he was confronted by Cristiano Ronaldo after not including him in his all-time top 10 list of the greatest footballers.
It is no secret that Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers ever to grace the field, as, with the exception of Lionel Messi (8), no one has won more Ballon d'Or awards than he has.

During the September 2024 international break, the Portugal international became the first men's player in history to score 900 goals in official matches.
Despite his long list of achievements, his inclusion in the conversation regarding the greatest footballer of all time remains relative.
One individual who has openly admitted to not being a fan of the 39-year-old striker is another former star at the Santiago Bernabeu, Antonio Cassano.
The Italian has claimed that Ronaldo felt disrespected by the fact that he snubbed him from his top 10 list of greats, and that the Al Nassr star confronted him via text messages as a result.
Cassano told the BSMT Podcast: "I said Ronaldo [Nazario] is No. 1, the Brazilian. Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't make my top five, or even top 10, because for me the quality of a player is another thing.
"Next thing, I finish the work I was doing and I get a text message from a +34 number, that's Spain.
"It's a list of all the trophies, goals and statistics.
"Then he [Cristiano] sends me a voice note, telling me, 'You disrespected me, don't do anything like that again. You only scored 150 goals, you only won four trophies.' Perfect.
"So I answer him. I say, 'Dear Cristiano, listen to me. You think I disrespected you, I just don't like you as a player. What's the problem?'
"He went to the trouble of messaging me... imagine!"
