Chiefs slayer Moseamedi finds new PSL club

Former Maritzburg United and Marumo Gallants striker Judas Moseamedi has found a new club.

Motsepe Foundation Championship club Venda Football FC have completed the signing of former Amakhosi slayer on a season long deal.

The acquisition has come as a huge boost for coach Vladislav Heric in his battle to move the club away from the bottom of the table.

In their quest to keep their MFC status, Heric says they have decided to sign the experienced Moseamedi.

In 2023, Moseamedi penned a deal with Tunisian club El Gawafel Sportives de Gasfa, only to be released before he even made his debut.

Venda are currently 16th the log table, with only one point collected in six matches ahead of the weekend's action.

"Yes it's true we've signed Judas Moseamedi, if he is not playing against Kruger United this weekend then definitely he will play the next game, but he is close to playing now," Heric tells KickOff.

"He is a very good player Judas Moseamedi, but the last time he played was in May, so I'm looking forward to getting him fit, and as soon as he is fit he is gonna start.

"We need his experience, we have signed him to get the team out of relegation, he is a very experienced striker, he is very good.

"I know him from Maritzburg United and Cape Town City. It's the first time I'm working with him but he is a very dedicated guy I can tell you."

The Limpopo club is set to unleash for the first time the 30-year-old in their next league match against Kruger United at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.
