Orlando Pirates tactician Jose Riveiro has provided his assessment of new signing Selaelo Rasebotja, who was handed his first start for the side in a shock Carling Knockout defeat to newbies Magesi FC.
Pirates were shocked at home by newly-promoted Magesi as a Delano Abrahams strike, a penalty from Edmore Chirambadare and Thabiso Sesane's own goal, all in the first half, were enough to secure a quarter-final spot for Clinton Larsen's charges.

The Soweto giants fought to get back into the match as Evidence Makgopa and Kabelo Dlamini both found the back of the net, but it was not to be as the match ended 3-2.
The encounter also saw Riveiro had a home debut for new signing Rasebotja, whose only other appearance came from the bench in the MTN8 final against Stellenbosch.
He earned a yellow card as early as the 15th minute and was substituted off after an hour of action.

Speaking to media after the match, the Spaniard said he was impressed with the 23-year-old and revealed why he substituted the midfielder.
"Maybe I was more affected than the player probably by the yellow card.
"In the second half, we proposed shooting (a more direct approach), a more side-to-side game. We are 3-0 down, so there is no time to be cautious.
"We knew we were going to be exposed in the centre with transitions as well. I think we had over 72% of possession overall, which was probably higher in the second half of that 72.
"So, finishing the game with 10 players would have probably finished all the possibilities for us to come back, so that's why [I substituted him off].
"But I didn't see Rasebotja uncomfortable because of the [yellow card], I think he did a good job overall."
The Buccaneers will have little time to lick their wounds as they prepare to take on SuperSport United on Tuesday, this time in the league.
Kick-off at Orlando Stadium is at 19:30.
