Readers, meanwhile, have offered their congratulations to the manager, and expressed their opinions about him as a coach.

"This is very logical decision by the BFA. Ramoreboli is very familiar with that country's setup. Congratulations to the SA tactician," says Bongani Mgubela.

"This coach made a name for himself outside boarders of his country (SA), so proud of him," says Bafanas Godrich Wasemzini.

"Botswana must just give him citizenship [at] once," says Mohau Hauzen Mahoota Legodi.

"Congratulations to Morena Ramoreboli for making a name for himself outside of South Africa. Continue making Africa proud," writes Asbeth Matlakala.

"Congratulations coach. You are the Man for the job. As a country, we love you and promise you full support," says Samson W. Matshega.

"This is one of the coaches I respect. He is so passionate and he knows his football," says Isaac Thobile.

"How coach Morena is overlooked by the PSL teams shocks me. They'd rather recycle 'failed' coaches," says Luyolo Tyeku.

"The guy is gaining more respect in Gaborone," says Tsumbedzo Mbavha Obert Denga.

"Well deserved and in no time he will occupy that seat permanently, as he knows Botswana players and he has proven himself in the Botswana league, and also in CAF," says Motsoloane C-man.

"This one must soon get a Betway Premiership team," writes Khoboti Akhanya.
