Bafana Bafana's drop on the latest FIFA standings has been confirmed following the release of the official rankings on Thursday.
The senior national team played two AFCON qualifiers during the October FIFA dates winning one and drawing one against Congo.

It was a 5-0 victory for Bafana at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the first match, before the two nations settled for a draw in Brazzaville four days later.
Failure to win both matches meant South Africa couldn't secure qualification with two games to spare in the group after starting off with a draw at home against Uganda in September.
The plus for Hugo Broos' men is that their destiny remains in their hands with two games to play, against Uganda and South Sudan, during the November FIFA calendar dates.
With the win and draw against Congo, Bafana didn't gather enough points to move and rather dropped one place from position 59 to 60.
This was officially confirmed with the release of the latest FIFA rankings on Thursday.
The FIFA standings points gathered from the win and draw were low with the Red Devils down in position 120.
Morocco remains the top-ranked on the continent (13) followed by Senegal (20), Egypt (30), and Nigeria (36), Algeria (37), Cote d'Ivoire (40), Tunisia (47), Cameroon (49), Mali (54) and DR Congo (57) in the top 10.
This means Bafana will spend another month outside the top 10 on the continent after having fought their way up following a third-place finish at the AFCON finals.
