Polokwane City head coach Phuti Mohafe has given some insight into the tactics from the side's surprise 1-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns.
After a goalless first stanza, City got the all important goal in the last eight minutes through Bulelani Nikani and managed to hold on to all the three points.

"I think what we did well was to manage those spaces in between the defence and the midfield, where [Marcelo] Allende and [Tashreeq] Matthews were operating," Mohafe said on SuperSport TV.
"As well as the space that was used by [Thapelo] Morena and [Asekho] Tiwani on the sides. So we managed that perfectly well, we forced them to go wide but we set traps, that when they go wide, the moment they receive the ball we must make sure that we pounce on them.
"We cannot match them in terms of possession, because we're team that go for a defensive structure, so we made sure we defend well, we block whatever they throw at us and we go on counter-attacks, we also use set-pieces and we scored from one and that is the only way, as Polokwane City we do well against Sundowns."
Rise and Shine will be up against Royal AM next Wednesday, before facing Sundowns again a week later, according to the fixtures.
"In the next match we're playing against Royal AM, it's a team that is also difficult to beat at home and a team that is playing well. Not much of a difference, in terms of playing [compared] to Sundowns, the spaces that they occupy," Mohafe continued.
"So we're facing another tough match, we just need to grind the results.
"I think we're going to play a different Sundowns when we're playing them at home. Because most of the [players will be back], it is just the rotation system caught up with them," Mohafe added.
