Elias Mokwana's former boss at Esperance de Tunis, Miguel Cardoso, has reportedly been offered a new job just one week after his sacking.
Cardoso was given his marching orders last week following a run of disappointing results in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

The Portuguese coach was appointed by Esperance in January 2024 on a short-term contract, but after he guided the team to the 2023/24 league title and qualification for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, he was rewarded with a new deal that was set to run until June 2026.
However, pressure from fans and the club's hierarchy has led to Cardoso's premature departure after just 10 months in charge.
Reports now suggest, though, that the Portuguese tactician may not need to wait long for his next job.
According to WinWin, Libyan side Al-Nasr Benghazi have made an offer to Cardoso to become their new head coach.
Al-Nasr are understood to have sacked their coach Tarel El Ashri on Sunday, and the club want to quickly find his replacement.
The report also claims that that the management of Al-Nasr recently met with Cardoso in Tunisia to discuss the proposal, but adds that the tactician is yet to agree to the offer.

Esperance was Cardoso's first job in Africa, having previously coached European clubs such as Rio Ave, AEK Athens, Celta Vigo, and FC Nantes.
