The winner of the 2024 Ballon d'Or award has now been confirmed!
Manchester City star Rodri has officially been voted the winner of the prestigious Ballon d'Or, beating the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior to the crown.

The defensive midfielder was influential in City's record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title triumph last season, missing only three games in the English top flight through suspension.
Moreover, the 28-year-old was part of Spain's 2024 UEFA European Championship title-winning team too, and was also named in that showpiece's Team of the Tournament.
He now becomes the first Spaniard to win the Ballon d'Or since 1960, and is also the first Premier League footballer to be crowned the world's best player since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2008 when he was still a Manchester United player.
Rodri also enjoyed the best season of his club career in terms of output last term, registering nine goals and 14 assists for City in the 2023/24 campaign.
