Mduduzi Shabalala, who delivered a Man-of-the-Match performance on Wednesday, has lamented missed scoring chances as Kaizer Chiefs registered a hard-fought draw against newly-promoted Magesi FC.
Chiefs left it late to salvage a draw against giant-slayers Magesi thanks to a Shabalala brace after Wonderboy Makhubu and Edmore Chirambadare had put the hosts ahead.

The Soweto giants thoroughly dominated the encounter with as many as 26 attempts at goal, nine of which landed on target. A vast difference to Magesi's two attempts at goal that both found the back of the net.
Speaking on SuperSport TV after the match, Shabalala said admitted that they could have done better in front of goal.
"I think it wasn't a good game," reflected the young attacking midfielder.
"I think we conceded silly goals and I think we were the better team. If you check in the first half, we created a lot of opportunities, probably 10 shots, and we couldn't convert. I think that's our main focus now, to put the ball in the back of the net. But I think the character from the boys, it was top-notch.

"We also have to applaud our substitutes, they came in and brought the character to us. I think for myself as well, I calmed down a bit after that second goal, but credit to them, we kept the ball well.
"We kept playing the ball on Reeve's [Frosler] side because we could see that they were lacking there.
"I think it was a good game and we [are] focused on the next one, which is [Mamelodi] Sundowns.
"It's something we have been wanting to do, to score goals. If you check in the second half, Mfundo [Vilakazi] got about four chances. Even me, I got three, and to concede against such teams, who don't create a lot of chances, we just gave away poor set-pieces against us," Shabalala added.
