A former FC Barcelona star is reportedly set to be appointed as the head coach at Inter Miami.
Gerardo "Tata" Martino has announced he will be leaving Inter due to personal reasons, having spent just a year and a half in Miami.
According to ESPN, the Major League Soccer outfit is set to appoint Javier Mascherano as their new head coach ahead of the 2025 season.

Mascherano has been coaching the Argentina U20 team but is now set to get his first head coach role in senior football.
Inter co-owner Jorge Mas revealed their coaching search started on Friday morning when they were informed about Martino's decision.
"I found out on Friday, I had a conversation with Gerardo Martino on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.," Mas said in a press conference Friday, as per ESPN.
"Our coaching search started at 11:01.
"We had a list; this is an extremely attractive job and position for a coach. We got it down to three final candidates by Tuesday and we made -- David Beckham, Raúl, my brother José Mas and myself -- made the decision two days ago and we will announce the coach in the next few days.
"Knowing that this isn't our first coaching search, I've been involved in interviewing the world's greatest since 2019."
