Kick Off can reveal that despite assurances to the contrary by the club, Dan Malesela's future as head coach of Marumo Gallants is hanging by a thread following a poor start to the season.
Gallants have announced former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki as their new Technical Director.

The Bloemfontein-based side described Ntseki's arrival as a strategic appointment aimed at strengthening the club's technical department and driving the team's success on the field.
However, this publication has gathered from reliable sources that Malesela has fallen out with management at Bahlabane Ba Ntwa and could be shown the door before the Christmas holidays.
"Marumo Gallants are still going to make further changes in their technical team," noted the source.
"They were looking for a coach before the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the Technical Director. They have spoken to several coaches to offer them the head coach position."
Ntseki is bringing a wealth of experience to the club after serving as a coach with the national teams from U20 right up to Bafana Bafana, where he was let go after failing to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

He also parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs in October 2023 after serving as head coach from the beginning of last season, and was later replaced by Cavin Johnson on an interim basis.
