Manchester City have reportedly identified two replacements for Rodri ahead of the January transfer window.
Rodri is set to miss the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign after undergoing surgery on his ACL last month.
Guardiola has spoken about the possibility of finding a replacement in the transfer market if their current situation does not improve.

According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions have included Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi and Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton.
Zubimendi was a target for City's rivals Liverpool in the last transfer window after helping Spain win the 2024 European Championship, but he opted against leaving Sociedad.
The Spain star did responds to links with Guardiola's side last month.
"There are always rumours but until now I've always thought that the best solution for me is staying at Real Sociedad," Zubimendi said, as per Goal.
"I've still a lot of things to give to this club, I still want to grow and develop here."
Wharton, meanwhile, had somewhat of a breakout campaign for Palace last season, which earned him a spot in England's European Championship squad.
