Former Orlando Pirates boss Josef Zinnbauer has reportedly met with one of his former clubs just weeks after he was dismissed by Al Wehda.
On 27 November, Al Wehda confirmed the appointment of Uruguayan coach Daniel Carreno as Zinnbauer's replacement at the helm after the German endured a poor start in Saudi Arabia.

Since taking charge of his first game in August, Zinnbauer only managed to win two of his first 11 matches at the helm, prompting his early sacking from the role.
However, recent reports in Morocco now claim that the former Orlando Pirates boss could be set for a quick return to Raja Athletic Club despite only leaving in July 2024.
According to Moroccan newspaper Al Akhbar, several members of Raja's executive office met with Zinnbauer in a café in Casablanca.
The report claims that no official negotiations about his re-appointment took place during their meeting, as their gathering was just a friendly catch-up in which Raja officials recalled their memories with the coach.
The Raja representatives also reportedly spoke to Zinnbauer about the team's current state under new boss Ricardo Sa Pinto, who now faces growing pressure after winning just one of his nine games so far.
It is also reported that a large section of Raja fans want Zinnbauer to return as head coach after he guided them to the 2022/23 Botola Pro 1 title without defeat.
Zinnbauer also won the Throne Cup last season, with his achievements at the club making him a natural favourite for a takeover should Raja decide to sack Sa Pinto.
The reigning Moroccan champions are currently in South Africa, where they will face Mamelodi Sundowns in matchday three of the CAF Champions League group stage on Sunday.
