The Bafana Bafana player played an influential part in FCSB's 2023/24 Romania SuperLiga triumph in his debut campaign, which marked the club's first league title since the 2014/15 season.
Moreover, Ngezana made it two trophies in quick succession after also claiming the 2024/25 Romanian Super Cup in July.
The Bucharest club also secured a UEFA Europa League spot with Ngezana in their ranks. To date, he has already played 52 matches in all competitions for the side.
Retired Romanian footballer Andrei Cristea now suggests that the 27-year-old is the best player in his position in the country.
"He's the most important central defender in Romania, believe me. I've seen him in all the matches, I like him a lot," said Andrei Cristea on the Liga Digisport show.
Elsewhere, Ngezana did not feature for his side during their 0-0 draw away at Hoffenheim in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
The club confirmed that the centre-back did not even travel with the team to Germany, as he had an injury problem in the lead-up to the game.
FCSB currently sit in a comfortable position to qualify for the next round of the Europa League, as they lie 10th in the table with 11 points from six matches and only two games to go, against Qarabag and Manchester United, in January 2025.
