One of Real Madrid's big-name stars reportedly rejected a move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
Rodrygo's future at the Santiago Bernabeu was unclear going into the 2024/2025 campaign following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

According to Relevo, Rodrygo was frustrated during the last campaign due to personal issues and the lack of public acclaim compared to Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.
Earlier this season, manager Carlo Ancelotti also dismissed claims that Rodrygo was jealous of his star teammates after not being nominated for the Ballon d'Or.
"I think Rodrygo has not been given enough credit in the Ballon d'Or selection, and I understand why he is upset. He deserved to be among the top 30 without a doubt," Ancelotti said, as per BeinSports.
"Someone has overlooked what he did in the Champions League last year, scoring in both games against City and always being very important."
The report adds that the offer from the English champions was very enticing, but the player remained determined to succeed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
