Reports in Spain now claim that Los Blancos are planning to open talks about an extension at the end of the current season.
According to AS, the Brazilian is more than happy to sign a new deal but he will demand to be on the same level as Mbappe with regards to his salary.
Vinicius reportedly accepted a low salary package than some of the top earner when he signed a new deal last year, but the club are also aware of the interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal were said to be keen on signing the Brazilian attacker, who does have a release clause of €1billion release clause, which needs to be paid in full.
