As a result, Ronaldo is now free to negotiate with any other club ahead of a potential free transfer at the end of the season.

According to Marca, the former Manchester United star could consider the idea of leaving Al Nassr at the end of the transfer window.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr on a free transfer back in January 2023 after leaving Old Trafford following a fallout with Erik ten Hag.

Some more high-profile players opted to follow Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia a year later, including Neymar, Sadio Mane, Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.

The report adds that the only reason keeping Ronaldo at Al Nassr is his desire to win the league title with the club.

Al Nassr finished second last season, 14 points behind Al-Hilal while they currently trail leaders Al-Ittihad by 11 points this campaign.
