Newcomers Scottland FC have dominated headlines, having embarked on a sensational shopping spree ahead of their debut top-flight season. They have secured more than a dozen signings, including Khama Billiat and last season's Golden Boot winner, Lynoth Chikuhwa.
Another Zimbabwean club, Simba Bhora, has since confirmed that they will conduct their preseason in South Africa.
Simba Bhora announced on their social media platforms that they will play three friendlies in South Africa during their preseason camp in Mzansi, which runs from 19 January to 3 February 2025.
In addition to being tight-lipped about which South African teams they will face, it is also unclear whether fans will be allowed to watch the games or if the matches will be held behind closed doors.
Simba Bhora won the 2024 Zimbabwean PSL title, securing the league with a commendable five-point margin over second-place Ngezi Platinum.
According to iHarare, Simba Bhora have already lost 13 players from last season's squad, as well as their manager, Tonderai Ndiraya, who recently joined Scottland FC.
