REPORT: PSL giants 'make' huge bid for Aziz-Ki

With several top African teams are in pursuit of Young Africans star Stephane Aziz Ki, a South African giant is said to have made a bid, according to reports from the continent.

Aziz Ki remains one of the most sought-after players on the continent.

Last season, the Burkina Faso international was reportedly being pursued by a number of teams, including South African clubs, but he confirmed that his ambition was to remain at Young Africans and signed a new deal.

Despite extending his stay with the Tanzanian giants, this reportedly has not stopped potential suitors from making further approaches to sign the skilful forward.

In recent weeks, Wydad Athletic Club have been linked with Aziz Ki, but they are said to face competition from other clubs, including Libyan side Al Ahli Benghazi.

Moreover, a new report by El Botola claims that 2024/25 CAF Champions League semi-finalists MC Alger and Orlando Pirates are also trying to sign the 28-year-old.

The report claims that Pirates have lodged a bid of $600,000 (R11.2 million) to Young Africans to sign their talisman.

It is also believed that Young Africans maintain their initial stance that they do not want to sell Aziz Ki in the near future, particularly during the current window, as he remains part of the club's plans.

Notably, Yanga SC were recently knocked out of the Champions League after failing to beat MC Alger at home in their final group stage match.
