Neymar 'demands' Pogba join him at new club in star-studded revolution

Neymar has reportedly demanded that his new club to recruit Paul Pogba along with a host of other big names.

After 12 years away, the attacker is reportedly on the verge of returning to Santos, the club where he made his breakthrough before securing a blockbuster move to FC Barcelona in 2013.

His homecoming is believed to come after making significant financial sacrifices to terminate his deal with Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal, where he featured in just seven matches due to injury setbacks.

However, with Santos having just recently been promoted back to the Brazilian top-flight after getting relegated at the end of the 2023 season, the forward is seemingly looking to lead a revolution at his former club.

According to UOL via Africa Top Sports, the former Paris Saint-Germain star has demanded that Santos move aggressively in the transfer market, with Pogba, Sergio Ramos, Thiago Silva, Marcelo, and his former teammate Paulo Henrique Ganso all reportedly on his wish list.

Despite financial constraints making some of these deals unlikely, Neymar and his father are believed to be playing an active role in talks to help secure reinforcements.

The Brazilian club is also understood to exploring more realistic targets, such as Leandro Paredes and Arthur Melo, to bolster their squad.

A key element in Santos' ambitious transfer plans is believed to be a potential partnership with a Saudi investment fund, which could provide the side with financial backing needed to lure high-profile names.
