After Percy Tau's move to Qatar SC, an Egyptian club are reportedly interested in bringing the player back to North Africa.
The Gulf club announced the signing of the South African last month and after much speculation about his future at Al Ahly, the forward found himself a new environment for at least the next six months.
It was reported that his contract includes a clause stipulating that his deal will be extended by two seasons if he impresses during the remainder of this term

Now, however, it has been suggested that Tau could make a return to Egypt, according to Egyptian journalist Abu El Maaty Zaki.
The 30-year-old had been linked with a move to Zamalek before departing the Red Devils but evidently, it did not materialise.
It is being claimed that Zamalek are looking to, once more, try and land the South Arfican's services as soon as next season.
"Hazem Emam contacted a player agent to negotiate with Percy Tau and convince him to join Zamalek starting next season," Zaki said per Ngm Algmahir.
The former Brighton Hove Albion star, meanwhile, started for his new side in a Qatar Stars League clash against Al Shamal last week Thursday.
Tau played 82 minutes of football before he was substituted off, with his side emerging 2-1 victors, a crucial victory that lifts the King out of the relegation zone, moving them from 11th to eighth place on the table with 16 points.
