Jose Riveiro has chosen to maintain his distance in matters relating to Monnapule Saleng's absence at Orlando Pirates.
Saleng has five goals (plus one assist) in 13 appearances this season but has been fizzling out from the face of the match-day squad since late last year.

The 26-year-old was heavily involved in August and September but since then played twice in October, once in November and once again in December, before completely disappearing.
There have been suggestions that his contract is what has created issues, but when asked about Saleng and injury updates at the club, Riveiro kept his fingers away from the stove.
"I don't speak about the health of my players.
"It is something that belongs to a private space.
"The moment the club feels that it is the time to speak about which players are injured, how long it will take, and the process is not part of my job description.

"It is not an ethical thing.
"I know it will be nice to know close is Olisa (Ndah), (Goodman) Mosele or what is happening with Saleng, but it is not going to happen," says Riveiro.
There has been previous interest in Saleng from the UAE, which would have vastly improved his earnings.
