Durban City chairman Farook Kadodia has chosen to be upfront in declaring his club's position in the Nedbank Cup.
The KwaZulu Natal club – formerly in the top-flight league as Maritzburg United – are through to the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup and got a favourable draw against Marumo Gallants on Monday.

They are the only club from the lower division whose position in the last eight is confirmed with Milford FC's Last 32 match against Royal AM still hanging.
"Our league is more important," Kadodia tells KickOff.com.
Durban City have the cushion of a five-point lead in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 12 games to play, giving them the advantage for the sole automatic promotion ticket.
"We have a second team that started the first half of the game on Friday night.
"The reality is that we cannot afford to risk our main players for the full 90 minutes.
"We have two big games coming up, so we need our players for these games.
"Our priority is promotion.
"All our players need to be given a chance, and this is a perfect opportunity for them to show the coach that they are worthy of being in the first XI.
"It will be a good opportunity for Marumo Gallants because at the end of the day, they will play against a team that is not the main team.

"So, they will have a good chance of winning.
"I enjoy watching these games (in the Nedbank Cup) because I get no stress, unlike in the league where I get to have stress," explains Kadodia.
