He received his marching orders for the second time after he got a straight red against Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarterfinals in the side's opening game of the season.
Sundowns' disciplinary record has started to hog the headlines, as the latest marks the team's ninth red card of the current campaign in all competitions.
As a repeat offender, the Ugandan is set to be suspended for Sundowns' next three matches, instead of the standard two for getting a red card in matches under the PSL banner.
"A player dismissed by the referee (i.e "red-carded" or sent off, including dismissal as a result of 2 (two) yellow cards given in the same match) will, for the first occasion in a Season, be suspended from participating in the next 2 (two) matches to be played by his team in any Competition under the auspices of the League," article 53.1 on dismissals in the NSL handbook reads.
"For each subsequent occasion that a Player is dismissed during the same Season the period of suspension will be increased by 1 (one) match from the suspension previously served," the next sentence on the manual reads.
