The teenager born in Johannesburg, who holds Canadian citizenship and represented the nation at the U20 level, made 72 appearances for Toronto FC II in MLS Next Pro between 2022 and 2024.

After making his first-team debut in 2023, the 19-year-old earned a homegrown player contract with Toronto's first team in February 2024.

"Adam gives us an incredible combination of size and pace, which allows him to play anywhere across our backline," Wanderers head coach Patrice Gheisar said per the club's official website.

"He fits the profile of our team perfectly because he is great on the ball, making forward passes and finding splits. It's amazing that he's just 19 and has over 70 games of pro experience."

Meanwhilesporting director Matt Fegan also seemed excited by the teenager's arrival.

"Adam is another promising young Canadian talent we are pleased to welcome to Halifax this season," Fegan said.

"During his time so far in Toronto and for national youth teams, he has displayed a high technical ability and professionalism."
